Hey I’m Lowri and I'm 16, this is my second year visiting Menorca as a member of Gwent Touring Band.
I started playing the cornet when I was 9 and joined Abergavenny Junior band straight away. I’ve stayed loyal to the cornet since the beginning and I have loved every second with it
I played in the Junior and Youth bands until two years ago when I was asked to play with Senior Band. I've played with them ever since, at concerts and contest and gaining experience and enjoyment under the guidance of various musical directors. I also play in the county youth band.
I cannot wait to visit Menorca with the band this Easter and I am looking forward to experiencing the unique cultural aspects of the various engagements and the comradeship of the band.
